Our team

Bob Nieminen
CEO

Bob Nieminen has been the president of KN Mining since 1990. In 1992, he took over entirely from his father, who founded the company in 1959. With over 45 years of experience serving the mining industry, Nieminen is also Vice-President at EnviroCri Ltee, an Indigenous company located in Mistissini, Quebec, which provides environmental services.

Jean-Daniel Nieminen
GENERAL MANAGER

Jean-Daniel Nieminen comes from an entrepreneurial family who has been working in the mining industry for years. He is now the third generation to work in the family business. Initially hired as a student to perform janitorial tasks, he then completed an internship to eventually become General Manager of the family business. He holds a Diploma of College Studies (3) in Industrial Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration (22) from HEC Montréal. He has been working for KN Mining for more than fifteen years.

Richard Knight
Technical Sales

With more than 20 years of sales experience, Richard has become a specialist in pumping systems and has developed skills and expertise in many other areas over the years.
